Finally, a game for all of your knowledge about weird, gross, and hilarious trivia.

I Wish I Didn’t Know! Family Edition is the PG version of a modern game night classic from What Do You Meme. It challenges players to answer trivia questions — but some of the answers you’re better off not knowing.

To preface, I am not a fan of the current trends of all things flatulence and excrement. Call me old-fashioned, but I like my games without mentions of bodily functions. That being said, I Wish I Didn’t Know! Family Edition has fun facts for everyone — from people like me to tweens who think the word “poop” is hilarious.

The best part about this game is how you play. The youngest player starts as the host, which means they ask the question on the card. The person on their left guesses the answer and wins the card if they get it right. Then the player who just answered plays host and the person to the left of them guesses. This means everyone has a chance to guess and it’s not just the first to answer who is the winner. If the player gets the question wrong, the round moves on and no one else guesses.

Some of the answers to the trivia questions I genuinely wish I didn’t know — although not all of them for the reason you may be expecting. For example, one of the questions asks, “If you visit New York City, for only $214 you can buy the world’s most expensive …” and now I wish I didn’t know the answer because now I’m craving grilled cheese with gold flakes and champagne bread.

Other questions may make you go “huh” or genuinely gross you out. They do all seem to stick to the 12-and-up age group and none of the questions I saw — there are A LOT of cards — stuck out to me as inappropriate for tweens. While some of the questions are gross, some of them are actually kind of interesting. Be sure to shuffle because I learned a lot about different state laws from one deck (You can’t carry violins in your pocket in Utah!).

Shuffle up the cards, gather your cleverest family members, and get playing! I wish I did know sooner that this game would be so fun.
