Hope is about finding the light in a world of darkness.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and CreateOn is helping turn on the light with the new Hope Catcher Luminary Magna-Tiles set, specifically designed for pediatric cancer patients to keep their minds busy during treatments. The sets are easy to use with only one free hand or on a small bedside tray.
Each set includes 10 magnetic tiles featuring cute bugs, such as bees, caterpillars, dragonflies, and more, as well as a light that illuminates the set for use as a nightlight after it’s completed. Kids can combine the tiles in a variety of configurations that create hidden shapes and inspiring words (“courage,” “strength,” “joy,” and “love”) each time they rearrange the layout. There is also a door slot on the tile of the completed structure, where families can add notes of hope and inspiration.
For each set that is sold, CreateOn will donate 20% of the proceeds to The Dragonfly Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps support pediatric cancer patients and their families. This is the latest addition to the Luminary Magna-Tiles line, following the launch of the first Luminary sets earlier this year in support of frontline healthcare workers in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hope Catcher Luminary Magna-Tiles are available now on createon.com for $29.99 per set.
