It’s time to explore the mystery of outer space!

It’s officially World Space Week (Oct. 4-10) and Hasbro Gaming is celebrating with the launch of a space capsule collection. The Target-exclusive games include Monopoly Space, Battleship Outer Space, and Trouble: On the Moon. Read on to learn more!

In the Battleship Outer Space Board Game, two players can go head-to-head as they search for the enemy’s fleet of spaceships and vaporize them one by one. Each player sets up their five spaceships anywhere on their three sectors as opponents hunt them down by calling out the sector and an entire row or column. Whoever finds and vaporizes all of the opponent’s spaceships will win the game. The game is suitable for kids ages 7 and up.

In the Trouble: On the Moon Edition Board Game, two-to-four players will act as moon mission astronauts who need to race to safety. Players must move quickly using space tethers while watching out for low fuel, fresh oxygen, and a moving rover on the action die. The first player to get to their airlock wins. The game is designed for kids ages 5 and up.

In the Monopoly Space Board Game, 2-6 players race to own the universe — Monopoly style. Players must travel around the gameboard while buying and selling planets, mining resources, and setting up their colonies. Players can start creating a colony by collecting three resources and “burning” them by returning them to the bank in exchange for a dome. Collect all five domes to get closer to the win, but watch out because landing on an action space can set you back or move you forward in an instant. The game is recommended for kids ages 8 and up.

The space capsule games are available at Target now.
