Someone brilliant—more specifically, Lego Ideas user lostsleep—designed this amazingly fantastic rendition of the set from the Golden Girls in Lego form. If it gets enough supporters within the next 343 days (So much time; we believe in you, lostsleep!), it has the potential to become a reality! The set features the foyer, the living room, and the kitchen and five minifigures, including Dorothy, Rose, Sophia, Blanche, and Stanley.
The best part of all is that it’s built like a TV set—the fourth wall is removed and it has a full view into the space. So. Incredibly. Cool. It’s super detailed with opening cupboards and fridge in the kitchen, a wicker sofa and chairs, a hallway backdrop, a storage closet in the kitchen, and an outdoor area with potted plans and a hose. That’s right: With this set, you’ll be able to recreate classic scenes from this wonderful 1980s sitcom treasure.
If that isn’t enough for you: As of today, lostsleep (you beautiful human, you) added a wonderful update: “If we can get to 5000 votes, I will add the Lanai behind the Foyer. For those of you not in the know, Lego Ideas is a cool site that allows anyone—even you!—to design a Lego set of your dreams and then try to garner 10,000 supporters within a certain amount of time.
