This play set features more than 13 feet of interchangeable track and a chunky car that toddlers and preschoolers can easily control with a two-button, steering wheel-shaped remote. The car moves forward and backward along the track or on the playroom floor. And, of course, no car is complete without a driver.
Ralph is in the driver’s seat of the No. 8 racecar, which, he’ll be sure to tell you, is “hard to keep up with.” From “whoosh” sound effects, to “vroom, vroom, vroom,” Ralph features tons of sounds, phrases, and songs to keep kids entertained—and he even offers safety tips, like reminding kids about the importance of wearing their seatbelts.
The multi-level track measures more than 4 feet wide once assembled and offers an impressive amount of play value, including eight mechanical features, four action zones, and nine SmartPoint locations. When Ralph drives his car through the Pit Stop, the gears magically move about to get the car ready for the races. When kids ride car No. 8 through the stunt ramp, they will be amazed at how it tilts itself over to transport the car onto the lower track. Automatic track switches navigate the car through different parts of the track each time, giving kids a different experience every time they go around this giant play set. (No exaggeration on the word “giant.” This thing is large, and you’ll definitely need to clear a space on the playroom floor for this one!)
Each track piece is a different color, providing a true multi-scensory play experience. Parents can assemble the snap-together, puzzle-piece track in no time, and they can even connect it to any other Go! Go! Smart Wheels, Animals, or Friends play sets to create an enormous play set that will keep kids busy for hours.
This set is so much fun, it’d be a shame not to share it. Kids can also get one or two additional R/C cars (sold separately) and drive them all at the same time, thanks to three-channel R/C functionality on each car. They can place two cars at the starting points and race together along the track, all while learning about colors, letters, counting, and more.
