In case you’re a little behind on what’s new in digital play, Hasbro has revamped the crossover between physical and digital play with their new Telepods line. Using the included Telepods portal, kids can launch their favorite Angry Birds (the line debuted with Angry Birds Star Wars sets) physical toys into the app. The physical Angry Birds figures are great collectible toys, so while they are compatible with an app, they aren’t solely only for screen play. The buildable sets and additional figure packs in each line of Angry Birds-based Telepods make these toys great for Angry Birds fans and collectors! Plus, they come at a much lower price point than other toys of this nature—making it fun and affordable.
The new line of Telepods sets, available now, coincide with the new Angry Birds Go! app. Check out a few of the highlights:
The Angry Birds Go! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway Set is a fun way for kids ages 5 and up to go head-to-head to topple the pirate pigs! They can slingshot their karts through swinging the obstacles, avoiding the pigs to be the first to the finish line. The racing action then continues on a mobile device by using the included Telepods base to teleport your kart into the new Angry Birds Go! app. The set includes two karts featuring Angry Birds characters, one of which that is exclusive to that set—so kids get a truly unique experience.
The Angry Birds Go! Telepods Multi-Pack allows kids ages 5 and up to cross the finish line in style with two new karts to add to their collection. They can race them against each other and then continue the racing action on their mobile device by using the included Telepods base to teleport their new cards into app. Each multi-pack includes to pig-themed racing targets and two karts featuring Angry Birds characters, one of which is, you guessed it, exclusive to the pack.
