On February 3, Elmo celebrated another birthday (HBD, home boy!) and Sesame Street celebrated this special day with the launch of an new social media campaign.
#ELMOtivation encourages kids and adults alike to believe in themselves and see the opportunities around them. While scrolling through Sesame Street social media accounts, followers will see an exclusive theme song and music video, new content from the upcoming season of Sesame Street, specially-made YouTube playlists featuring uplifting Sesame clips, and shareable social media content starring Elmo and all his Sesame Street friends.
Already, our fuzzy pals have been echoing their support for the campaign, by sharing their very own words of wisdom.
“Sometimes me wonder what is friend? Then me remember, friend is someone to share last cookie with,” says Cookie Monster, mid-bite.
“Does it really matter if the trash can is half full or half empty? Just be happy there’s trash in it!,” grumbles Oscar the Grouch.
“Don’t be scared to color outside the lines!,” exclaims Elmo.
Even more exciting, set to launch in the fall as part of the campaign is a star-studded dance video campaign featuring some of our fave characters and celebs sharing their takes on Elmo’s famous Happy Dance. Ayo, let’s bust a move!
