Summer is just around the corner and with it comes new opportunities for families to bond and play together!
The Genius of Play, The Toy Association’s non-profit initiative that is dedicated to helping parents raise healthy and happy kids through play, announced the launch of its Summer Playbook. The playbook is bursting with fun activities to keep kids engaged and occupied all summer long.
The Summer Playbook features eight play ideas that aim to encourage kids to get outside, explore their world, and be active. It includes The Genius of Play favorites like the Action Figure Float, the Wiggly Worm Farm, and Animal Moves. Each activity provides the associated benefits of play and age level, and includes a list of simple household items families will need for setup. It also comes with ready-to-print coloring pages and activities kids can do with a little help from parents.
