Jump into the world of Gabby’s Dollhouse with a real dollhouse!
Gabby’s Dollhouse is a series that launched on Netflix last year that follows main character Gabby and her feline friends as they explore her dollhouse and encounter tons of surprises and games. Kids can explore part of Gabby’s world for themselves with the Gabby’s Dollhouse Dress-Up Closet Playset from Spin Master!
The playset comes with 18 pieces, including a Gabby figure, wigs (all with Gabby’s signature cat ears), outfits, different photoshoot backgrounds, a toy camera with a tripod, and more. Kids ages 3 and up can dress Gabby in fashionable outfits and get her ready for the runway by picking out colorful wigs and outfits, mixing and matching accessories as they please to incorporate their own fashion sense. Some of the stylish pieces include a blue-and-yellow skirt, a green skirt with pink flower petals, and blue jeans with red boots.
On the bottom half of the playset, kids can place Gabby on a rotating podium that smoothly spins as kids slide it forward and backward so Gabby can dazzle the crowd with her new makeover. Once kids are done walking Gabby down the runway, they can lead Gabby up the pink rope ladder to the photoshoot room.
The photoshoot wall even changes when kids simply lift the purple frame outward to choose a different cat-themed backdrop that they can place in front of the others! Some of the backdrops include Gabby’s trusty kitty sidekick, Floyd, dressed as a superhero; a blue mermaid cat in the deep sea; and a pink cat among clouds and vibrant rainbows.
The mini camera accessory fits perfectly on the tripod (which also stands in place), so Gabby can get ready for her close-up. Kids can add other dolls from their collection to give Gabby an audience when she struts down the runway!
This playset also comes with a fun surprise inside! By opening the round purple box, kids can unveil a new accessory to add to Gabby’s wardrobe, like a pair of light green fairy wings. The packaging features a QR code on the inside of the lid that reveals a secret reward in the Gabby’s Dollhouse mobile app. Don’t spoil the surprise for your kids, but I got an adorable pink cat accessory for Gabby’s virtual room!
When kids are finished playing for the day, they can gently close the doors of the set and snap the lid into place. The playset neatly holds everything inside, since it comes with drawers and clothing hangers to store all of the accessories. With a handle on top of the closed box, it is easily transportable. This toy makes for the perfect way to keep your kids entertained while on the go and eliminates the need for excessive clean-up.
