Snapsies Series 2 Characters | Source: Funko

What do you get when you cross a unicorn with a cat dressed as an ice cream cone?

Well, the only way to find out is to snap, match, and mingle with Funko’s new Snapsies expansions! Snapsies are capsules filled with bits and pieces of mystical creatures that kids can mix and style by snapping the pieces together. The vinyl body parts attach together with a satisfying snap so that kids can build various animal characters with different textures, such as fuzzy llama fur or metallic mermaid fins.

Snapsies Series 2 will see new cute critters joining the ranks of existing characters, such as dragons, llamas, and sharks. Kids ages 3 and up can now discover French bulldogs, leopards, skunks, koalas, or an alicorn (a mix between a unicorn and pegasus) in each blind capsule container. Priced at $9.99, each container includes one head, one body, two butts, two faces, five accessories, one sticker sheet, and one checklist for kids to keep track of their Snapsies collection.

Funko will also release a new Snapsies GEMS line. These blind capsule bags will feature seasonal-themed characters — such as Sugarplum Sparkle, Snowflake Glitz, and more — to help kids spread some holiday cheer. Some Snapsies even have gems or rhinestones for pupils for an extra festive sparkle! The capsules will be available in packs of two for $19.99, three for $29.99, and five for $49.99.

These new Snapsies lines will soon be available at major retailers, including Target, Amazon, and Walmart. Snapsies Series 2 is set to hit shelves in August, while the Snapsies GEMS line will debut in October. To check out more Snapsies collectibles, visit funko.com.
