Ravensburger and Karen Kavett of “Karen Puzzles” are putting their pieces together to release the Karen Puzzles collection, and The Toy Insider has an exclusive first look.
Karen Puzzles is a successful YouTube channel that focuses on jigsaw puzzles and creator Karen Kavett’s love for them. She’s done everything from mixing a bunch of puzzles together and racing to finish a puzzle as fast as possible to completing an imposing 24,000-piece puzzle. This woman loves her puzzles. So when puzzle-maker Ravensburger was looking for a collaboration partner, Kavett was an easy choice.
Ravensburger is best known for, you guessed it, puzzles. The German company offers a wide variety, from kid-friendly jigsaw puzzles with large pieces to its Disney-themed “Making Mickey Magic” puzzle, which clocks in at a whopping 40,320 pieces.
Ravensburger officially announced the collaboration with Karen Puzzles earlier today at this weekend’s USA Jigsaw Nationals, held by the USA Jigsaw Puzzle Association. The first puzzle in the collection, “Puzzles on Puzzles,” is a colorful, 3,000-piece puzzle intended to reflect Karen’s background in crafting and design. The completed design features a variety of gradient color puzzle section on top of each other, as well as some colored pencils and swatches.
“I’ve been piecing together Ravensburger puzzles for as long as I can remember, so it was a natural fit for me to team up with them to create my own custom puzzle,” Kavett says. “I hope all the puzzlers out there love it as much as I do.”
The Puzzles on Puzzles puzzle (say that three times fast) will be available to preorder on Amazon for $49.99 and is expected to ship this November.
