Red Yarn
Red Yarn For nearly a decade, Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) has been winning family audiences with his folksy, rockabilly-infused brand of down home kindie jams. Together with his wife Miss Jessie, and a gang of awesome puppet Critter pals, Red Yarn has been adapting to the strange new world that 2020 has delivered by performing a virtual Homespun Concert Series on Facebook while plotting a new web series and putting the finishing touches on a new album. This Friday, Backyard Bop will be released, a collection of new songs about small towns, neighborhoods, and backyard adventures. It’s a record that’s perfect for the world we’re living in right now, especially as we head into the dog days of summer. The Toy Insider is thrilled to partner with Red Yarn for the exclusive music video debut for the title track, “Backyard Bop.” Grab the kids, press play, and you’ll be tapping your toes, swinging, and singing along in no time! This Friday, Red Yarn will celebrate the release of Backyard Bop with a live-streamed family concert at 4 p.m. PDT on Facebook.
