If you or your kids struggle with math, the new Duolingo Math app is here to help, and it offers extensive math lessons to kids and adults!
First introduced last year, Duolingo’s free — and ad-free — app incorporates elementary math lessons for kids, as well as brain-training lessons for adults that include topics such as mental math tips and tricks. Kids can improve skills in areas such as multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, measurement, and more!
The app uses interactive features and adorable characters to encourage users to reach their full potential and to help kids and adults battle math anxiety, which surged during the COVID-19 pandemic. One exercise even helps kids learn the characteristics of time, such as hours and minutes, by allowing them to move the hands on a clock and watch how the times change. Kids can also match different interpretations of fractions together and write their answers to math problems, offering a fun, hands-on way to learn and help the lessons stay committed to memory.
