A new special “Howliday” edition of the Monster High Draculaura doll is ready to attend even the most fashionable winter party.
Mattel’s Monster High dolls, which launched in 2010, are fashion dolls that are Halloween-ready any time of the year. The dolls are based on various monsters from movies and myths. Turn these monsters into school-going teens, and you have Monster High. The brand was a hit and now has its own TV series on Nickelodeon that premiered on Oct. 6.
Dracula’s daughter Draculaura is a vampire teen who knows how to dress for the occasion. Her new fashion doll features a pink spiderweb dress with a black coat over it. The coat has snowflake patterning which is highlighted further with Draculaura’s snowflake headpiece. Her candy cane gloves and Christmas ornament earrings bring more of the holiday spirit, making the whole look a spooky and Christmasy combo.
Kids are sure to be charmed by this kind and nontraditional vampire — she’s a vegetarian who passes out if she even sees blood. Other Draculaura looks have featured her in a black-and-white ‘fit, in her signature outfit with a white pleated skirt and a pink vest, and with her pet bat, “Count Fabulous.”
This new Draculaura Monster High Howliday doll is available online and at major retailers for $42.99.
