Disney released two new trailers today, one for the upcoming live-action sci-fi flick Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney, and one for the Disney•Pixar animated comedy Inside Out.
Tomorrowland follows the mission of former boy-genius, Frank (Clooney), and a bright, optimistic teen with tons of scientific curiosity, Casey (Britt Robertson), to uncover the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland. Tomorrowland is directed by the Academy Award-winning Brad Bird (Ratatouille, The Incredibles) and boasts a cast featuring Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson. Tomorrowland arrives in theaters May 22.
Amy Poehler and Bill Hader also brought the newest trailer for Disney•Pixar’s Inside Out to The Ellen Show this morning. Inside Out, directed by Peter Docter (Monsters Inc., writer on Toy Story 2, Wall-E, Up), is an original story that takes viewers on big adventures inside the brain of a young girl. When Riley is forced to move from Minnesota to San Francisco, new emotions come up to the surface of her mind, effecting every single action that she makes. The emotions include Anger (voiced by Lewis Black), Fear (Bill Hader), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), and Joy (Amy Poehler). Inside Out explores the emotions behind why people act the way they do. Check out Inside Out in theaters on June 19!
