We love to pull out our favorites to entertain us on a long car ride, or on a family-night-in movie night. But now, with Disney Interactive’s newest app, Disney Movies Anywhere, you can watch these classics—quite literally—anywhere.
When you download the app, it first pulls in the Disney movies you already own on your device, whether you purchased through iTunes, Google Play, or through a Blu-Ray combo pack download, and adds it to your library. The app lets you see a preview from all the movies, as well as a synopsis, the full cast, the short that played in front of the film when it was in theaters, and all of the awesome bonus materials.
You can browse the apps for more movies to buy in a Netflix-style browsing system. The movies are sorted by genre, year, whether it’s Disney•Pixar or Disney Princess, featured categories such as “Man’s Best Friend” that showcases dog-focused Disney films, and more. It’s a really cool way to find Disney movies you already love, as well as discover new favorites for your family to love.
But what makes it “anywhere?” You can hook up the same account to multiple devices—your own tablet, as well as any of your kids, etc.—so that no matter where your clan is, they can watch Disney Movies. Up to 30 people can watch at the same time, so you can definitely share the Disney love!
