Disney Channel will debut its first-ever family dance competition, Disney Fam Jam, next month. Families will hit the dance floor in the ultimate battle for dancing glory.
Fam Jam, inspired by show choreographer Phil Wright’s “The Parent Jam” viral dance classes that aim to get the whole family up and moving together, is set to premiere on Sunday, Feb. 23 on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. Ariel Martin and Trevor Tordjman, two of the dancing stars of the Disney Channel original movie Zombies 2, step up as hosts on the half-hour, multicam series.
Each episode will bring two families head to head as they each learn an original dance from Wright. They’ll then hit the stage for a big performance and compete in front of a studio audience. The episode’s favorite dancing family will take home a $10,000 prize and Fam Jam trophy.
