Halloween is for everyone and Disney is contributing to the fun with new editions to its Adaptive Roleplay costumes collection.
These costumes and wheelchair covers are designed to accommodate kids with accessibility needs. The costumes have stretchy fabric that opens in the back for an easier dressing experience. The wheelchair covers have support bars to keep things in place, and transform a kid-size wheelchair into a magic carpet, a carriage for Cinderella, the Incredimobile, and more.
The newest additions to the collection include the Buzz Wheelchair Cover set, the Woody Adaptive Costume, and the Jasmine Adaptive Costume. Kids can dress as Jasmine from Aladdin or their favorite toy cowboy from Toy Story. Sizing for both of these costumes ranges from extra small to extra large. The Buzz Wheelchair Cover set puts kids in the pilot’s seat, transforming their wheelchair into a rocket ship. Pair it with the Buzz Lightyear Adaptive Costume and they’ll be ready to go to infinity and beyond.
But if none of these appeal to your particular kiddo, there are lots of other costumes already available in the collection. Cinderella, Elsa, and Black Panther are just some of the other Disney characters you can find as adaptive costumes.
The new additions to the set are available now at shopDisney. The Woody and Jasmine Adaptive Costumes as well as the Buzz Wheelchair Cover are all available at the shopDisney website for $39.99 each.
