It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood and a beautiful day for a neighbor.

If your family is a fan of the PBS Kids series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood — or a fan of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, which the animated series is based on — you’re in luck! Fred Rogers Productions, the kids’ entertainment company behind Daniel Tiger, and 9 Story Brands have finalized a handful of licensing partnerships to bring a ton of new merchandise to preschoolers. The product range will include apparel, books, toys, and more, including a potty training set, ride-ons, and outdoor toys.

Parents can look forward to the Daniel Tiger Fisher-Price 3-in-1 Potty Training Set this fall, featuring a potty chair with a removable seat that fits on full-sized toilets, a fold-down lid that transforms into a step stool, and activated sound effects and music from the series.

For kids who love to read, Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing is making Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood one of its top preschool properties with the release of new storybooks, Ready-To-Read titles, picture books, boxed sets, and more. The books will include Naptime in the Neighborhood, Daniel’s First Day of School, Daniel Plays in a Gentle Way, and Daniel Goes Camping. Cottage Door Press already released the board book Let’s Look with Daniel and Friends and will introduce other titles later this year.

Best Ride-On Cars will launch floor-to-foot ride-ons (one of them is pictured above), M&M Sales will launch a play tent and swing, and parents can expect new apparel from Children’ Apparel Network, Hybrid, Peejamas, Steel City Apparel, and Zappos.

All items will hit stores this year, with the exception of Zappos’ adaptive clothing for kids with special needs, which will be available early next year.

In the meantime, families can watch Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on PBS Kids, or visit pbskids.org/daniel to download printables and songs, play games, watch videos, and read stories.
