For some kids, STEM isn’t something that they think they could care about — but GoldieBlox is trying to change that.

Curiosity Camp After School launched last week as an effort to bring some FUN to STEM. It was created to inspire and entertain girls ages 6-12. The program gives them the a space to explore the world around them from the safety of their home. It comes after Curiosity Camp helped inspire many this summer.

Kids can download activities and watch a number of videos, including Draw Her Life, Cool Tools, and What’s the Scoop?. Each show features a female IF/THEN Ambassador who shares her journey and ways that kids can get involved. Goldieblox partnered with the Lyda Hill Philanthropies’ IF/THEN Initiative as it showcases the correlation between having fun with STEM and choosing a career in the field.

The site comes complete with a camp-inspired map to help kids on their new adventure. Find it here for free!

Nicole Savas

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
