Halloween is just around the corner, and for both kids and parents alike, that means frantically preparing to ensure the holiday is as spooky and sweet as possible. It’s easy to get distracted in this festive frenzy, but media company Moonbug Entertainment is making sure this Halloween season is as educational as it is fun with new YouTube specials starring Blippi and CoComelon characters.
CoComelon and Blippi are both educational YouTube series that aim to teach toddlers about the world around them with quirky characters and musical performances. Starring the singing cartoon baby JJ, the CoComelon program features catchy, educational nursery rhymes that explore topics such as letters, numbers, and animals and the sounds they make. Corresponding lyrics to the rhymes are displayed on screen so that kids can sing along with all the CoComelon friends! CoComelon toys are also a big hit this holiday season, with playsets, dolls, and more from Jazwares, Just Play, and ekids.
As a special treat, JJ is making his Halloween debut in the new “Peek-a-BOO Song Halloween Edition!” The 37-minute YouTube episode includes a compilation of spook-tastic nursery rhymes, such as “Peek-a-Boo,” “Halloween Costume Song,” and “Jello Color Song.” Each magical melody takes kids on a different adventure, whether it’s a trip to the harvest or a Halloween costume party! The Blippi YouTube series follows the fun, energetic character Blippi, who can always be seen sporting his signature orange-and-blue outfit. Just like the characters of CoComelon, Blippi uses interactive songs to introduce kids to concepts such as colors and letters. With his goofy mannerisms and friendly demeanor, Blippi invites kids on adventures that get them excited about learning! Jazwares first launched Blippi toys last year, such as the Blippi Recycling Truck and a Blippi doll.
Blippi is offering a two-for-the-price-of-one Halloween deal with the Blippi Halloween Movie and a new episode of his animated series Blippi Wonders on YouTube. The spellbinding movie invites kids to a Halloween party that will take them on a host of different journeys. As Blippi flips through his spell-book, each rhyme relocates him to a different location where he will explore a new topic. On the hunt for a sweet treat, the “Sweetest Spell,” transports Blippi and viewers to Joan’s on Third Bakery for cookie decorating!
