cities of wonder

The wanderlust is real.

Earlier this month, retailer Jaq Jaq Bird introduced its latest reusable book series, Cities of Wonder, which is all about notable landscapes around the world. Each book is erasable for kids to illustrate over and over again, with 10 pages of blank and color-in designs of famous architectural elements. Books feature notable cityscapes and landmarks from Amsterdam; Beijing; London; New York; Paris; Reykjavik, Iceland; San Francisco; and Toronto.

“Cities of Wonder stemmed from my love for travel and is an exciting new step forward in furthering the educational and exploration components of our brand,” said Grace Paik, founder and creative director of Jaq Jaq Bird, in a statement.  “The creative tools we offer are erasable, reusable, lightweight and flexible, allowing families an on-the-go creative outlet, which keeps their children unplugged from screen time. Our Cities of Wonder series encourages children to learn and explore, while simultaneously allowing them to actively love the world around them by reducing paper waste.”

Each travel-themed coloring book comes with a set of erasable ButterStix pastel writing utensils that don’t leave a mess or smear. Kids can then easily wipe each page clean and start fresh. The books also come with an interactive map guide listing food facts, city history, and places to visit.

Next time you’re planning a family vacation, the kids can tell you all the best places to go!
