A new streaming service is offering 60-day free trials of its family-friendly content for those who find themselves spending more time at home as the nation responds to COVID-19. After all, families may want to watch something other than Frozen.

Cinedigm is making the Dove Channel available for families to watch thousands of uplifting titles together. When kids go to bed, there’s also CONtv for parents to watch fandom-related content or read some comics digitally.

The Dove Channel uses the standards of the Dove Foundation, which reviews content on its Christian values and its family-friendliness. Families have told Cinedigm that their favorite series on the platform are Babar, A Turtle’s Tale, Heartland, Highway to Heaven, and Zapped, the company says. Parents can download the channel app on Samsung TV+, Roku, Sling, Dish, Comcast, Redbox, and Vizio.

Nicole Savas

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
