There’s never a dill moment when Cats vs Pickles are around.

Cats fear pickles, but pickles just want some love. Cepia has created a viral sensation with the original Cats vs Pickles toys in the form of 4-inch beanbag characters. The brand has since grown — both figuratively and literally — with the larger Cats vs Pickles Jumbos, Huggers, and Chonks. Now, the adorable characters are getting a mini makeover with Cats vs Pickles Mystery Mini Figures.

These colorful collectibles feature the original Cats vs Pickles characters in a new, 2-inch size — this time made from vinyl instead of their usual beanie plush style. Each figure comes in a mystery bag with a zany cat or pickle design on the package, but the character inside is a total surprise. Kids can tear into the cat or pickle packaging to reveal a posed character and a removable display stand.

There are 44 different characters in the collection and their personality-filled designs are what makes them so fun to collect. Fans might recognize some of the characters from their plush counterparts, like Be Mine Kitty with a hot pink hue coated with pastel candy hearts, Aloha Cat with a Hawaiian shirt and flower lei, the Great Catsby in classy black-tie attire, Stormy Kitty with a lightning bolt and rain pattern, or Mr. Argyle with spectacles and an argyle sweater.

The pickles are rarer than the cats, so it’s even more exciting when you spot a flash of green as you unbox a derpy-faced pickle like Hank, Joe, Frances, or Junior, among others. They’re not necessarily the smartest gherkins in the jar, but they sure do look cute.

Look for them at Five Below and GameStop (in stores only) or at Claire’s online. Plus, if kids already own Cepia’s Cats vs Pickles Sweetshop, they can add these mini figures to the playset for role-playing action, standing them up at the counter to order ice cream sundaes and banana splits as the beanbag characters take their order. But don’t forget the pickles, because you have to taste the sour in life to appreciate the sweet.
