Cloudco Entertainment launched Camp Care Bears with a mission to create a positive, uplifting, digital “place” for campers of all ages, as a direct response to COVID-19 and imposed quarantines. Through livestreams, downloadable activities, and group sharing, Camp Care Bears will be a meeting place for a global community, unified by their acts of “sharing and caring,” right on brand with those lovable Care Bears. The Care Bears and surprise guest camp counselors will bring weekly activities such as arts and crafts, journaling, reading, games, cooking, and nature walks to families’ homes.
“Camp Care Bears is our answer to navigating this “new normal” together …,” said Kristeen Tibbits, vice president of marketing and social media, Cloudco Entertainment, in a press release. “Our team, along with guest camp counselors, has risen to the occasion, creating original content aimed to engage with campers of all ages. We hope to inspire creativity and wellness, and encourage a sense of togetherness and community when the world needs it most.”
Camp Care Bears was launched with morning announcements yesterday morning on the Care Bears’ Instagram Live. A weekly schedule will be posted across all of the Care Bears social channels on Monday mornings moving forward (ET).
