As a parent, discussing the current COVID-19 pandemic with your kids can be difficult — but maybe some music can help.

Family musician Ben Rudnick released a new single, “Monster NO!,” which is a catchy take on how kids can stay safe during this difficult time (because the coronavirus pandemic is monster if we’ve ever seen one). The song is a positive view for different ways kids can cope, from practical measures like using soap to being goofy such as jumping up and down, and passing the time with reading a book.

In Rudnick’s world, there are lots of ways to chase a scary monster away. Kids can keep the monster away by washing their hands, doing silly dances, and talking like a frog.
