Batman (and his secret identity Bruce Wayne) has always been known for the insane technology stowed away in his Batcave. It seems some of it has slipped out of Gotham because DC is launching some epic digital content: the upcoming DC: Batman Bat-Tech Edition app, a mobile experience for kids that’s filled with a digital comic book, mini-games, augmented reality (AR) filters, and Batman technology-based learning experiences.

Designed for kids ages 6 and up, the app immerses players in narrative-driven, technology-inspired activities. Kids can become part of Batman’s world by joining his crime-fighting team, the Knightwatch, and learning how to use Bat-Tech to fight crime and defend Gotham.

The app uses AR technology to make players truly feel like they’re fighting crime and going head-to-head with well-known villains, such as The Joker, Mr. Freeze, and The Riddler. Players will also get to use AR to learn about the technology they’re using through mini-games and storytelling features. And, of course, there’s tons of exclusive Batman content to get fans excited about the crime-fighting hero. Users can access digital comics, sticker packs, AR face filters, Batman Bat-Tech-themed videos, and even use the Batcomputer — where all of Batman’s technology secrets are stored.

Ready your tablets and smartphones, because the DC: Batman Bat-Tech Edition app is available for free today — and you can play it in 13 different languages! Download it now on the App Store and Google Play stores.
