The pop culture phenomenon Baby Shark is coming to the small screen, and Nickelodeon just announced the exciting cast for the series, called Baby Shark’s Big Show.
The 2D animated series follows Baby Shark and his best friend William as they go on fun adventures through Carnivore Cove and sing songs along the way. Just as the lyrics of the catchy song suggest, each character will play a different member of the shark family: Kimiko Glenn (Orange Is the New Black) as Baby; Luke Youngblood (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) as his best friend, William; Natasha Rothwell (Insecure) as Mommy; Eric Edelstein (We Bare Bears) as Daddy; Debra Wilson (MADtv) as Grandma; and Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld) as Grandpa.
Baby Shark’s Big Show will kick off on Dec. 11 with “Baby Shark’s Big Fishmas Special.” New episodes will follow in the spring. Following the premiere on Nickelodeon at 2:30 p.m. (ET/PT), the whole family can enjoy the special on nickjr.com and the Nick Jr. app.
Be sure to gather the family to sing along with Baby Shark’s Big Show this holiday season.
