Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 20, and it is a great video game option for new, young gamers. With fun graphics and an E rating, the game is both adorable and family-friendly! Now, Nintendo is sweetening the release with another new product: an Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch console.
The new system launches on March 13, one week before New Horizons debuts. (For those unfamiliar with the Animal Crossing game series, you can learn more here!)
It features adorable homages to the new game, with pastel green and blue Joy-Con controllers and a dock featuring images of Tom Nook and Nooklings Timmy and Tommy.
This new system retails for $299.99, the same price as a regular Switch, which makes this a fantastic option for families who plan to buy the system specifically for the new game.
If you (or your kids) already have a Switch and don’t have time to collect quite enough bells for this new one, don’t fret! There will also be a special New Horizons Aloha Edition Carrying Case and Screen Protector for both the Switch and the Switch Lite. This is a fun way to add a touch of Animal Crossing love to the console without breaking the bank.
