How long is forever? Sometimes, one second — or 70 years that have passed by in the blink of an eye.

That’s right, it’s been 70 years since Alice’s mind went out for a stroll after falling down the rabbit hole in Disney’s animated rendition of Lewis Carroll’s tale. To commemorate the occasion, Disney has just released a limited-edition Alice in Wonderland doll for kids ages 6 and up, designed in the artistic essence of iconic Disney artist Mary Blair.

Since 3 inches is such a wretched height (according to Alice herself), this doll is 17 inches tall. She dons her iconic pinafore dress, featuring accents such as a velvet bodice with lace details, sheer puff sleeves, a mesh neckline, and a sculpted pocket watch necklace with a chain on the collar. There is gold floral embroidery on the peplum of the dress, accompanied by bread and butterfly details.

Mary Blair’s design shines through in the Garden of Live Flowers print on Alice’s skirt, accessorized by multicolored gems and a tulle underskirt. The detail is so intricate that fans can even spot faces on the flowers of the dress! To top it off, this poseable doll comes with fabric flower details on the shoes.

Limited to 7,900 pieces, the Alice in Wonderland by Mary Blair Limited Edition Doll includes a certificate of authenticity and display stand. The doll costs $129.99, and is available to preorder now at shopDisney‘s site. Keep an eye out for more 70th anniversary Alice in Wonderland offerings along the way!
