Adora is on the search for its 2017 Young Designer to help design an outfit for an 18-inch Friends Doll to be available in next year’s Friends line. The Designed for Kids by Kids Program is in its fourth year, and was created to empower young girls to get creative and design something they’re proud of and give back to the community.
This year’s theme is Slumber Party, where kids are asked to design a slumber party themed outfit on the paper doll provided on the entry form. Kids can draw, color, paint, collage, and let their imaginations run wild while creating the design. The Adora Dolls Design Committee is accepting entry forms via email (designedbykidsforkids@adoradolls.com) or regular mail.
The final outfit and its Young Designer will be featured in next year’s Adora catalog, where the outfit will be available for purchase along with their story. In addition, the Young Designer will get to pick a favorite charity of theirs that Adora will make a financial donation to on their behalf.
