Kids can activate the car with the gas pedal, and switch to reverse driving mode, too, using the gear shift on the dashboard. The car is made to accommodate up to 77 lbs, and should only hold one child at a time.
The car does include a 6-volt battery and charger, and an adult must charge the battery before kids use the car and again between each use. A battery life indicator on the dashboard, located next to the auxiliary plug, lets you know when the car is running low on power.
There is some adult assembly required for this ride-on, a process which should take about 30 minutes and requires a Phillips head screwdriver. The included manual spells out each step for assembly, which includes tasks such as attaching the wheels, steering wheel, and windshield.
Once it’s built, kids will love feeling grown up while cruising the yard or sidewalk in this fun-size version of a classic car.
