It’s almost summer, and that means it’s time for a fresh batch of free-wheeling fun from the Hess Corp!

The 2021 Hess Toy Truck Mini Collection — a limited-edition set of small-scale replicas of classic holiday Hess Toy Trucks of the past — is available now, while supplies last.

This year’s collection is a five-piece fleet of classics: the 1968 Tanker Truck, 1980 Training Van, and the 3-in-1 1997 Hess Toy Truck and Racers. Each toy in this Mini Collection pays tribute to the original that inspired it, with bright LED lights, premium details, and loads of shimmering chrome accents. The vehicles also come with detachable collector display stands.

The Hess Toy Truck has been a holiday tradition since 1964 when Leon Hess first launched the annual series as an affordable, high-quality gift option for customers of his Hess gas stations. In 1998, after the holiday trucks (despite the name, not always a truck, specifically) had become sought-after toys and collectibles well beyond the East Coast, the Hess Corp. debuted the Hess Miniature Series — a collection of playable, collectible vehicles inspired by previously-released full-size counterparts. Last year, the company introduced My Plush Hess Truck, a limited spring offering geared toward infants and toddlers. This year’s plush truck — a Cement Mixer — launched in March and secured a spot in the Toy Insider‘s 2021 Spring and Summer Toy Guide!
