The 2020 Hot Wheels Legends Tour has come to an end and Riley Stair of Sacramento, CA has emerged victorious!
Mattel announced that Stair’s custom 1970 Pontiac Trans Am will be inducted into the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends and will join the Hot Wheels collection as a 1:64 scale, die-cast vehicle.
The third annual Hot Wheels Legend Tour made 14 virtual stops across the world meeting contestants eager to turn their custom car into a Hot Wheels collectible.
The finale was live-streamed from the Jay Leno’s Garage YouTube channel where Stair was crowned by Ted Wu, vice president of global design for vehicles at Mattel. The epic finale event was hosted by Jay Leno and motorsports ambassador Jarod DeAnda.
A series of diverse judges ultimately chose the winner and fans were delighted to see special guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Gabriel Inglesias, Brionna Lynch, and more. The 1970 Pontiac Trans Am was said to embody the spirit, originality, and authenticity of Hot Wheels, ultimately declaring it the winner.
