Skylanders Game

Portal masters: Prepare to unleash your creativity. Today, Activision announced the latest installment to its Skylanders franchise: Skylanders Imaginators.

Set for release on Oct. 16, the new game allows kids to create the Skylanders of their dreams. When kids place the new Creation Crystal onto the Portal of Power, they can prepare to customize a completely unique Skylander on-screen. Kids can mix and match body parts and accessories, and give their Skylander its own name, powers, abilities, catchphrases, musical themes, and more. The one-of-a-kind Skylander will then be saved onto the Creation Crystal, so players can take it with them and play with their creation wherenever they go. There will be one Creation Crystal for each Skylanders element. There are hundreds of different customization options, letting kids focus in on major to minor details, from muscle density, to eye color, to ear shape.

Skylanders Imaginators will also introduce new Sensei figures, which are new heroes that are masters in one of 10 Battle Classes, including Knight, Sorcerer, Bowslinger, and Brawler. In the game, the Senseis will train the unique Imaginators and help them unlock special weapons, guide them to new and exciting locations, and bestow secret techniques upon them. The game will launch with 31 Senseis, including some fan-favorite villains who have joined the battle for good.

Skylanders PS4 Game

Once kids create the fantastic Skylanders they’ve always imagined, they can embark on a journey to once again defeat the evil Kaos in an all-new story featuring puzzles, battles, and never-before-seen friends and foes.

Fans can pre-order the Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack, which includes two new Skylanders Sensai figures, a fire element Creation Crystal, a Portal of Power, and the video game. The game will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, XBOX 360, XBOX One, and Wii U.

Skylanders Imaginators marks the sixth release in Activision’s line of toys-to-life video games, a category pioneered by the company in 2011.
