Have your kids outgrown their Baby Shark phase, but are still obsessed with the pointy-toothed predator? Let’s turn that obsession into education!

The Op has partnered with Discovery Shark Week to bring parents and kids Monopoly: Predators of the Deep, the brand’s latest edition of a classic family board game. Predators of the Deep is a fast-dealing, property-trading game in which kids will learn about many iconic shark species such as the great white shark, the tiger shark, the megamouth shark, and more as they buy, sell, and trade camera and satellite tags of their favorite species.

In this game, the explore and discover cards will replace the typical chance and community chest cards. | Source: The Op

Future marine biologists can navigate the ocean-themed game board with one of six custom tokens that represent elements of ichthyology, including a research vessel, a shark diver, a sonar buoy, a shark fin, a starfish, and the Shark Week logo.

In this game, the explore and discover cards will replace the typical chance and community chest cards. There are many different approaches to playing the game: Instead of owing boat repairs and fuel fees, players can invest in ocean floor, coral reef, open ocean, and deep sea territories. To win the game, a player must collect the most shark tooth currency.

Monopoly: Predators of the Deep Edition is designed for two to six players ages 8 and up. Each game takes about an hour to play. Families can purchase the game  exclusively on The Op’s online shop for $39.99.
