Lexigo Rush!, from Wiggles 3D, is a game of speed, spelling, and searching. Players start by arranging 13 tiles in a grid and setting the timer for 60 seconds. Each player must find words hidden in the grid, and can follow words’ paths as they twist and turn throughout the grid. Players write as many words as they can find before time’s up. Players then compare their findings, and each player gets a point for every word that they have that no one else does.
For the second round, players can add a bonus ring to one of the tiles, which earns double points for each word found that uses that letter. The second bonus ring is added for the third and final round. After three rounds, the player with the most points wins.
I’m a big fan of word games. There’s something about unscrambling letters and finding words that is so satisfying, and when you add in competition and a timer, it’s bound to be a hit. Wiggles 3D even added a free app as a supplement to the game, with a timer, fun sounds, a spell-checker, a score keeper, and information about the game. I found the game to be easy to master, quick to play, and engaging enough to become a family favorite.
