Ho ho ho! It’s almost time for Santa to step out of the North Pole for his annual pilgrimage and the LEGO Group is getting ready with the reveal of the LEGO Santa’s Visit set.
This building set is the latest addition to the Winter Village collection and features a family’s festive house as they prep for Santa’s arrival. The house is decorated with boughs of holly and a snowy gate with a mailbox. Families can get into the holiday spirit by setting up all the tiny LEGO details inside, including stockings hung by the fireplace, a chimney for Santa to slide down, a kid’s bedroom, a kitchen with a decorated dinner table, milk and cookies to leave out for Santa, and a comfy chair for him to take a rest in.
The set comes with four minifigures, including Santa, as well as Winter Village’s first illuminated Christmas tree. Builders can press down on the top of the tree to trigger the light brick hidden inside.
The LEGO Santa’s Visit set is available exclusively for LEGO VIP members starting on Sept. 16, with a general release on Oct. 1. While the set is recommended for ages 18 and up, kids can enjoy it, too, as a family building experience. It forms part of LEGO’s popular Winter Village collection, which includes the LEGO Gingerbread House and the LEGO Elf’s Cub House.
