Nokia and DreamWorks Animation have released DreamWorks Dragons Adventure, an innovative entertainment experience for the new Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet that turns a family drive into a magical gaming expedition. The app comes pre-loaded on Nokia Lumia 2520, and is now available. Based on DreamWorks Animation’s 3D-animated How to Train Your Dragon franchise, DreamWorks Dragons Adventure uses Nokia’s maps to convert and populate actual landmarks, live, as you drive. Roadways, lakes, real-life traffic, weather conditions, and select buildings are mirrored into the game. Players act as dragon trainers and work to complete their quest in the fictional Isle of Berk. The game’s companion app, Dragons Adventure Companion, which enables players, such as parents, to participate in the gaming experience by setting quests and missions on their Lumia smartphone, before starting to drive. These quests and missions can change the action and add new challenges, enhancing the adventure by making it harder or easier, shorter or longer, add new loot to find, and more. The companion app is a great new way to get parents involved in a game with their kids, and is available on most Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8.
