The first Ghostbusters: The Board Game was a success and hit among fans, so Cryptozoic Entertainment and Sony Pictures Consumer Products, have teamed up to give sci-fi fans a second Ghostbusters board game. In April, the two companies will launch a Kickstarter campaign for Ghostbusters: The Board Game II.
The second board game features exciting new elements, including Slime Blower Pack Ghostbusters, Ooze entities that split apart and join back together, allies, new equipment like Ecto Goggles and Portal Destabilizers, and more. The map tiles in the game depict buildings destroyed by earthquakes and fires, collapsed streets that expose slime-infested sewers, tunnels with derailed subway cars, and ghost trains.
Ghostbusters: The Board Game II, features a new original story by Ghostbusters comics writer Erik Burnham, and the new figures for the game are based off designs by Ghostbusters comic book artist Dan Schoening. The storyline will satisfy any Ghostbusters adventure cravings you may have, as you can finally fulfill your dream (at least it’s always been one of my dreams) of becoming a Ghostbuster. In an attempt to bring Vigo and his minions back, Ghostbusters must investigate mood slime that has flooded the city, creating earthquakes and riots.
