Every kid wants to change the world, and with Gabby’s Kid Power Challenge, they can!
DreamWorks Animation and UNICEF USA are coming together for a new video series on YouTube Kids that aims to educate and give back.
The program is designed to teach children social and emotional skills through fun videos featuring characters from Netflix series Gabby’s Dollhouse. From now until Nov. 20, fans can watch the weekly videos starring Gabby and fan-favorite felines like Pandy Paws, Cakey Cat, and DJ Catnip. The videos will feature content ranging from crafts and dancing to costume parties.
“We created some really fun videos that will help teach kids that they can help other children around the world by watching and playing along with Gabby and her friends,” says Gabby’s Dollhouse star Laila Lockhart Kraner. “Kids can be pretty powerful and this is a fun way for everyone to get involved.”
Each video kids watch adds kitty hearts to their kitty bank on gabbyskidpowerchallenge.com. When the bank is full, families can back a UNICEF cause of their choice — such as education, nutrition, or emergency supplies — via a $400,000 donation from DreamWorks.
