Mia and the Migoo is the fable-like journey of a young girl who works to overcome her fears while on a quest to find her father and save the world from destruction. The second feature from French animator Jacques-Remy Girerd, Mia’s adventure takes her on a cross-continental journey, through mountains and jungles, in search of her father who has been trapped in a landslide at a construction site on a remote tropical lake. Mia works with the Migoo to find her father and save the Tree of Life. Mia and the Migoo, available this spring and produced by Entertainment One, was created from nearly 500,000 hand-painted frames of animation.

Kidz Bop Toys On Their Way In 2012

Those lovable Heroes in a half shell will be back in 2012 in a big way!
Nickelodeon’s all-new CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series will premiere in Fall 2012- leaving both parents and kids filled with excitement. This week at Toy Fair, we got a sneak peak at some of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys that are set to debut this year as well.
Playmates Toys, the driving force behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys in the 80′s– is now introducing a new product line for the new series. The 2012 toy line will consist of all-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle basic and deluxe action figures, playsets and vehicles as well as Ninja role-play gear.

Nickelodeon introduces NickMom

Yesterday, Nickelodeon announced a new development slate for the newest addition to the Nickelodeon Family- NickMom.
NickMom will be a prime time comedy block (airing from 9pm-1am) and web site designed specifically for today’s moms. With a mix of talk shows, stand up, sketch comedy, hidden camera, and game shows, this all new mom programming will be debuting late 2012.
Here is a sneak peek at the line up–
NickMom Night Out: (26 episodes) a stand-up comedy series that takes moms out for a night at the comedy club. Featured comedians include Judy Gold, Corey Kahaney, B Phlat and Deena Blizzard, all offering their humorous takes on the joy and pain of parenting.
A hybrid sketch/talk series starring and executive produced by comedian and actress Caroline Rhea and Emily Cohen (Title TBD).
It’s Nighttime with Annabelle Gurwitch – A new breed of talk show that looks at the world through Gurwitch’s unique mom-colored glasses, executive produced by Gurwitch and Elyse Roth (former The Daily Show producer).
The 5th Hour – A scripted comedy show inspired by morning news shows and hosted by mom comics in the roles of the news team. Executive produced by Mad Cow Productions (Madeleine Smithberg, executive producer The Daily Show with John Stewart), Sarah North and Jordan Tilzer (Roar).
The Judi & Kate Show – A real-life, modern-day Laverne and Shirley, these two mom video bloggers have a lot to say, and the worldwide web is listening. Mommy Double – Because every mom wishes she had a twin helper, we bring in a mommy double to get the job done…or at least try to. Executive produced by Magda Liolis and Eileen Braun (Figure It Out, Bet the House).

Who doesn’t look forward to the great holiday classics that are on TV this time of year? Both kids and parents cannot get enough of them!

The game follows Kris’ path to becoming Santa Claus, including being adopted by the toymakers Kringle, meeting and being rescued by the future Mrs. Claus, and acquiring his famed flying reindeer.
