The Truck

Kids love toy trucks. It’s a classic play pattern that will likely never go away, but some are cooler than others. Cat Roll ’n Go Machines Haulin’ Harry Dump Truck, from Toy State, will surprise kids with his charismatic tricks. This personified truck lights up, emits cool sound effects, talks, and does something new every time kids play with it.

Haulin’ Harry is bright yellow, just like real Caterpillar tractors, trailers, and dump trucks. With his brows propped up with eagerness, a smile splashed across his bumper, and his headlights ready to light up, this truck is certainly a powerhouse of energy, ready to play with kids right out of the package.

The plastic dump truck features big fat tires like a typical truck, two big headlights, and two smaller dipper lights. Best of all, Haulin’ Harry is equipped with a spin-ball that activates motorized action. Kids can spin the bright-colored red ball attached to its roof and watch Harry go forward or backward and fire-up with light, music, and entertaining vocals. I personally love his crazy eyes that move side to side as he goes on a drive.

The Truck and the BoyHarry might cry out “Wohoo!” and speed off until he comes to a halting stop, or go “Honk! Honk!” and push his way forward as if he were navigating heavy traffic, or simply order kids to follow him as he zooms along. Haulin’ Harry is delightfully unpredictable, especially when he backs up.  He’ll engage is back-beeper to warn kids he’s on the move, but this truck can travel, so make sure there’s plenty of floor room to let him roam about.

Haulin’ Harry was made for kids ages 2 and up, which is perfect for kids getting the hang of walking. He’s a perfect companion at this stage, leading the way to active, indoor adventures. The truck moves forward or backward in small strides, so that his bipedal companions can keep up. Kids can also pick up the phrases Harry yells out every time he’s on the go and start building a fun vocabulary.

For older kids, Haulin’ Harry can be a great addition to their Cat Roll ‘N Go Machine collection. Every Cat vehicle has a unique character, and Harry, with his excitable spirit and fun attitude, will definitely stand out!
