Toy Reviews Whether you kid is an equestrian in training, or just in love all things adorable, Build-A-Bear’s new Palomino American Quarter Horse and Bay Thoroughbred horses will gallop their way right into his or her heart. The question isn’t, “Should I get one?” but instead, “How the heck do I pick just one?”

The Palomino American Quarter and the Bay Thoroughbred are the two breeds in Build-A-Bear’s new Horses and Hearts Riding Club line of customizable plush. Both are 14 inches tall and have lifelike features, such as their big, friendly eyes. The Palomino horse has a blonde mane and tail, blue eyes, and a tan body with light brown hooves. The Bay Thoroughbred has a black mane and tail, green eyes, and a dark brown body with black hooves.

Toy Reviews 2016In addition to the lovable horses, kids can also choose from an array of beautifully unique accessories. With the purchase of one of the sets, kids can pick one of three saddles and one accessory, like colorful hair extensions, vibrant flowers, and bedazzled bows. Additional accessories, such as a brush for the horse’s silky mane, a trough full of food, or a stable are also available in the new line (but sold separately).

Like all Build-A-Bear products, the horses have mega soft fur, and the hair on their manes and tails is silky, with wispy bangs that fall across their faces. While the hair extensions add a unique touch to a child’s horse, the material is slightly different than their manes, and a bit more brittle. The horses’s legs are flexible and easy to move, which not only allows the horses to stand upright on all legs, but it also lets kids prop them up on their hind legs in a sitting position.

The cuteness doesn’t stop there. What’s a horse without its rider? Build-A-Bear also has adorable equestrian riding outfits so that all of kids’ Build-A-Bear friends can play together.

The Palomino American Quarter and Bay Thoroughbred horses, as well as all the accessories in Build-A-Bear’s new Horses and Hearts Riding Club line, inspire creative play for kids during playtime.
