We have readathons, build forts, sock skate and so much more. I think adults and kids alike need to take a tech break and remember that your imagination is more fun than anything technology can do for you. App toys and gadgets will no doubt boom and as a toy shop we will need to evolve to accommodate that market; however can't help but think about the fun times past and present as a parent we have had the most fun interacting with the kids and every time it's been through creative play / toy making! Recently made the little baby a rattle out of nut shells and small plastic bottle and she loved it ;-)) I couldnt agree more traditional and creative toys play quite simply encourages more rounded development.
