Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!




The spirit of Dr. Seuss is in the air today! From Seussville to New York, every where we look people are sharing Dr. Seuss pictures, quotes, crafting activities and even some fun Dr. Seuss themed food ideas!

Today, the day that the highly anticipated children’s film- The Lorax – hits theaters, Dr. Seuss would have been 108 years old!

Through out his career, Dr. Seuss authored over 60 children’s books that families today still treasure. In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday Random House and the National Education Association has named March “National Reading Month”, encouraging parents and children to read together.

Living in the age of tech some of Dr. Seuss’ most famous stories have been brought to life through apps- and in celebration of the Dr’s Birthday and national reading month- OceanHouse Media has put many of those interactive Seuss app on sale- some are even being offered for free!

    My favorite Dr. Seuss books were always ‘And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street!’ and ‘The 500 Hats Of Bartholomew Cubbins’.
